The RMP is part of a system of electronical interfaces for Airbus A320 flight deck simulators. |
The RMP includes two boards:
A front panel card which comprises the dispays and the electro-mecanical elements
A CPU CPUGEN card which control the front panel card and which manage the RS232 liaison with the host system

The RMP manages two tasks:

Displays management

2 rotactors (2 analogic inputs):

12 green leds that you can switch on or off for each momentary key (12 digital outputs):
VHF1, VHF2, VHF3
HF1, HF2, AM
NAV, VOR, ILS, MLS, ADF, BFO
1 white led which can be switched on or off (1 digital output):
SEL
2*6 seven segments displays + decimal point (96 analogical outputs):
